Just because he says he knows...

Not everyone who knows..knows.

It is harder to get a higher ranking and still be in the Navy...but the US Secretary of NAVY assure the President and everyone else concerned....

"No matter what happens, the US Navy is not going to be caught napping."

That was December 4, 1941.

Three days later, December 7th...it was December 8th in Japan because of the time difference and so on...Japan came calling.

Aren't we all glad we listened to the Secretary?
